Leaving the Comfort Zone and Challenging the Status Quo
Aniruddh Singh was at the peak of his professional career at IndiaMart, making strategic technology decisions for one of India’s largest e-commerce companies. But despite having a job many dream of, he wanted to create something of his own.
On January 1, 2017, he took that leap. The fear of leaving a stable income was replaced by optimism, joy, and determination to follow his dreams.
A New Beginning – Getting Past the Idea Phase
The idea phase was an emotional rollercoaster. Conviction and self-doubt took turns, but every step brought him closer to realizing his vision.
Finding the Right Name
Aniruddh Singh launched an online contest to crowdsource name suggestions. That’s how Sygitech was born, combining Synergy, Digital, and Technology. His performance marketing platform, QlickTrack, emerged from the concept of quick, one-click tracking for marketing agencies.
Overcoming Doubts
Like most entrepreneurs, he faced moments of doubt. But with persistence and optimism, he moved past these obstacles to build a solid foundation for his startups.
Taking Off – Building the Right Team & Signing the First Contract
The challenges of hiring the right people were immense. As a techie, Aniruddh Singh had to step into unfamiliar roles – from marketing to HR – and learn on the go.
Building a Team
He wore multiple hats, from sourcing prospect data to running marketing campaigns. After extensive learning, he hired two capable marketing professionals to kickstart the journey.
Overcoming Hiring Challenges
Finding talented techies was difficult without a large office or VC funding. Many great candidates preferred safer opportunities, but persistence paid off.
The First Contract
In July 2017, after tireless efforts, he secured his first project. This marked the beginning of a journey that would see him serve over 10 happy customers across software development, infrastructure management, cloud, and technical consultancy.
The Journey Continues
With each challenge overcome and milestone achieved, Aniruddh Singh moves forward. This is only the beginning.
